G.E. Robert 'Bob' Taylor

Bob grew up in Hamilton and at the age of 26 came to the United States, sponsored by the U. S. Marine Corp. After his tour of duty with the Marines, Bob settled in Santa Ana, California In 1966 Bob met Marilyn Woodland. They were married in 1967. They had one child, Melaine (Cooper) Drury. Bob also had two children by a previous marriage, Jackie Allen and Stephen (Kimme) Taylor. While living in California, Bob worked with Sears Roebuck Co. When he moved to Prescott in 1977, he worked in various jobs in the auto industry. Upon retirement, he enjoyed golfing with his friends and traveling with his family. Bob is survived by his wife and children, grandchildren, Abraham and Alexander Drury and another grandson and two great-grandchildren in California. He is also survived by his niece, Sandy Johnson, and nephew Dannie Dunnigan. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved sister, Noreen (Jack) Dunnigan and nephew David Dunnigan.

Service:
A celebration of Bob's life will take place at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at the Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home, corner of Cortez St. and Carleton St. in Prescott.
