Gaspar Cuevas

Gaspar Cuevas, 86, of Prescott passed away peacefully at his home on March 28, 2015, with his loved ones by his side. He was born on March 6, 1929, in Calexico, California. Gaspar was proud and devoted husband, dad, grandfather, and great-grandfather raising his four children in Calexico. Gaspar retired from U.S Customs with over 40 years. Gaspar was a proud member of the Chula Vista Elks Lodge 2011, Mason Lodge 390, Scottish Rite, Al Bahr Shriners. Enjoyed watching baseball, football, and basketball games and listening to the 1940’s music. Gaspar was preceded in death by his High School Sweetheart (wife) Josie (1998), together for 49 years. Survived by Victor(Sukie)Cuevas, Prescott and Jeanette(Michael)Arzaga, Vincent(Cecilia)Cuevas, Jennifer Cuevas of California. 8 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren. Our Special heartfelt appreciation to Hospice Family Care Prescott for their unwavering compassionate care for our dad.

Burial will be at the La Vista Cemetery in California.
