Frank D. Smith

Frank died Thursday, September 8, 2011 at Yavapai Regional Medical Center in Prescott, Arizona. He was born July 4th, 1935 in Grove Springs, Missouri; the son of John Newton Smith and Rhoda Mae Smith. Frank was 76 years old.Frank served in the United States Air Force for over 20 years. During his 20 years he served in Korea and Vietnam.
Frank enjoyed fishing and hunting with his sons, family and friends. He also enjoyed going on family vacations to Yellowstone and Yosemite National Parks.
Frank was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved the Lord with all his heart, his Church family and serving the Lord. Frank also loved his dogs Sniffles, E.T., Bubba, and Ginger.
He is survived by his wife Darlene of 32 years , his sons Brian and William, his Daughters Cheryl, Brenda, and Kathy, 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Service:
A celebration of Frank\'s life will take place at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 15th at the Fountain of Life Community Church, 3160 Lynx Lake Dr. in Prescott Valley. The committal service with military honors is at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 15th at the Prescott National Cemetery in Prescott.
