Frank Bielak

Frank Bielak, a resident of Prescott Valley, AZ, passed away peacefully at home on January 17, 2016. He was born in Sayreville, NJ on August 1, 1930 to Katherine and Peter Bielak, the 8th of 10 children.  Frank served honorably in the U.S. Navy, and returned to Sayreville afterwards. He never failed to make time for his family.  Surviving members include his two brothers (Leon and Joseph) and two sisters (Lottie and Bernadette), brother-in-law Stanley, 7 nieces and nephews, and many grand-nieces and -nephews. Frank retired from DuPont, where he had worked for 30 years. On a pilgrimage to Fatima and Lourdes in 1983, he met his wonderful wife Marilyn, and he began the next chapter of his life.  Married in 1984, Frank and Marilyn blended families and their strong religious faith, and had almost 30 years together in Prescott Valley, AZ.  Frank was the proud step-dad to Gary (Cindy), Mary (Tom), and Dennis (Noreen), and the proud grandfather to 9 and great-grandfather to 11 children.  Frank cared lovingly for Marilyn until her death 3 years ago on Jan 13, 2013. Frank was a very faithful and active member of St. Germaine's parish. He had many good friends and good neighbors. Frank always made time for a visit – for every holiday and birthday with his nephew Mark and his family in Phoenix, to spend time with relatives who vacationed in Arizona, and to attend weddings and family celebrations in Wisconsin.  He loved going on those road trips.   Frank always said he "lived in God's country", and appreciated the beauty of his surroundings. We will miss him greatly, but know that he lived his life looking toward that final destination.   Services will be at St. Germaine Catholic Church in Prescott Valley on Wednesday January 27. Visitation beginning at 9:30 am with mass at 11:00 am.  A luncheon prepared by the Women's Guild will follow.Donations in Frank's memory can be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society.
