Floyd grew up in Missouri and moved across the south with his family as migrant workers, before settling in California. He joined the Army at the age of 20 during World War II. He met the love of his life Bernice at a boarding house after returning to Missouri. They moved after their marriage to Phoenix in 1952. He was a gifted carpenter who found he was more productive working on his own. His family grew to 3 girls, Linda, Lona, and Sandy. After many real estate ventures and numerous building projects the Johnson?s decided in 1970, that Prescott was a cooler place to continue his lively hood He and Bernice celebrated 53 years of marriage before she was called home to the Lord. Floyd lived his life loving the Lord and wanted always to serve Him the best he could. He was a person of great strength and determination. He took great pleasure in being honest and was very devoted to his family, who will miss him very much. Floyd is survived by his 3 girls; 11 grand children, 10 great grand children and 4 great great grand children.
