Fay G. Bagby, 81, died April 19, 2005 in Prescott. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Charles, her sons John and Bill and her daughters Sally and Emily. She will be remembered forever. Her grandchildren Jeff, Dawn, Brian and Lauren, as well as her great-grandchild Denver will hold her fondly in her memories. Fay was a native of Prescott and spent virtually her entire life in Yavapai County. She loved the outdoors, was an avid gardener and strong conservationist. A graduate of the University of Arizona where she met her beloved Churck, she was a lifelong advocate of education. She attained presidency at the state of Arizona level of a respected women's organization whose goal was to assist and encourage the higher education of women. And she and Chuck were selected philanthropists of the year after providing many years of support to local organizations whose charters were to educate and assist Prescott citizens. A strong woman with an intense feeling of right and wrong, she was vocal in opposition of things she disfavored and equally vocal in support of those things she believed in. She believed strongly in her husband and together they founded Quality Plastics of Prescott in 1965. Her ideas and participation in that company resulted in a thriving entity that remains vital today. She worked there for 39 years without ever taking a salary. The memories of those who knew her and loved her will be rich with the diversity and variety of her interests, her experiences and her ways of demonstrating her love of family, her friends, and all of God?s creations. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the Alzheimer?s Association, 225 Grove Avenue, Prescott, AZ 86301.
