Evelyn Marie Mccollum

Evelyn Marie McCollum died December 21, 2008 at her home in Sedona.  She was born on July 8, 1918 in Watertown, SD the daughter of Jack and Grace (Jayne) Rose.  Evelyn married Thomas McCollum on May 31, 1936.  She was a resident of Arizona for 35 years and of Yavapai County since 2005.  Before retiring, Evelyn worked as an interior decorator. Evelyn was a member of Saint Andrews Episcopal Church in Sedona.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and decorating.  She was most proud of her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas. Evelyn is survived by her daughters: Sandra Hensley of Sedona, AZ and Janice Jensen of Champlain, MN, sons: Stephen McCollum of Carrollton TX and Thomas McCollum of Charlottesville, VA, grandchildren: Tiffany, Clay, Shannon, Scott, Jennifer, Jill, and Kelly, great-grandchildren: Michele, Matthew, Francesca, Tyler, and Max.
