Eleanor Grace Abell-Johnson died November 14, 2005 at Las Fuentes Resort. She was born November 18, 1916 in Chicago, Illinois; the daughter of William H. and Grace M. (Parkes) Bender. Eleanor would have celebrated her 89th birthday, Friday.   Eleanor was a very gifted and active woman;  her creative and artistic side was as an accomplished classical pianist; an  artist working in oils,  and ballet dancer. She was also an avid golfer, bowler, a wonderful cook and enjoyed a good hand of bridge. Eleanor was a member of National TTT, National League of Pen Women, Scots of Prescott and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was very proud of her work with the Sun City Sheriff?s Posse and having been President of Pen Women. But she was proudest of her family.   Eleanor is survived by her daughter; Roberta (Albert) Landeck of Prescott; son; Dr. William (Patricia Nicol) Abell of Anderson, Indiana, sister Theresa (Gerry) Miller of Chippewafalls, WI., grandchildren; Gregory, Susan, Albert, Jennifer and Deborah and 9 great grandchildren, Eleanor was widowed three times; Austin, 1973; Clayton, 1976 and Herbert in 1987. Her Brother Frank and great grandaughter Miranda, also preceded her in death.   The family and friends will gather from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Friday November 18,  at the Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home, 303 S. Cortez   A Celebration of Eleanor?s life will be at 2:00  p,m, Saturday, November 19 at the Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Homewith a sharing of memories and reception following in the Carriage House.  Grave Dedication will be graveside 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 21, at Sunland Cemetery, 15826 Del Wedd Blvd. Sun City, Arizona.
