Eileen Summers Grist Hopper

Eileen Summers Grist Hopper, 90, died March 30, 2014 in Prescott with her loving family surrounding her. She was born May 5, 1923 in Youngstown, OH to Wallace & Georgia (Summers) “Mamie” Grist. Eileen married the love of her life, Graham A. Hopper on April 11, 1945 in Washington, DC. She worked for the federal government as a Contract Specialist for the U.S. Navy before retiring. She also worked at the Pentagon during World War II. She is survived by her son Robert Hopper of Prescott Valley; her daughter Patricia Mahon of Prescott Valley; grandchildren Kim and Stacy of San Diego, California; and her brother Alfred Grist of Lafayette, OR. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years Graham A. Hopper, her parents, and her brothers Samuel Grist and Wallace Grist.
