Edna R. Richardson

Edna died Thursday, July 7th, 2011 at the Mission Palms of Mesa Health and Rehabilitation Center in Mesa, Arizona. She was born January 5, 1926 in Mayer, Arizona; the daughter of Orin and Minnie (Davis) Culver. Edna was 85 years old.
Edna was born in Mayer, Arizona; the daughter of Orin and Minnie (Davis) Culver. A true daughter of the Southwest, she will be buried with her boots on. Edna married Lee Richardson on March 16, 1946, and in 1950, they moved to Bagdad, Arizona where Lee was employed by Bagdad Copper Co.
Edna and Lee were married for 58 years. They were members of the Bagdad First Baptist Church. Together they enjoyed horses, hunting, and visiting with friends. They had such love for others that their house was never empty. The Richardsons became second parents to the neighborhood children.
Edna was preceded in death by her beloved husband Lee.
Edna is survived by her Son and Daughter-in-law, Sherman and Mary Richardson of Round Mountain, Nevada; Daughter and Son-in-law, Sherri and Raymun Miranda of Queen Creek, Azizona; Sister, Mildred Ship of Burro Creek, Arizona; and Grandchildren, Vicky, Candace, Michael, Matthew, and Marcus.
