Edgar Arnold Shook

Edgar A. Shook, 74, of Prescott, Arizona, passed away unexpectedly on December 31, 2020, due to complications from Covid 19. Edgar was born on April 18, 1946 to Paul and Dorothy Shook in Aldrich, Missouri. After graduating high school, in East Harford Connecticut, he joined the United States Air Force in 1968 and was stationed in New Mexico and Germany before being honorably discharged in 1972. After moving to Arizona, Edgar married his wife, Becky, in 1983.  He was a proud member of the International Union of Elevator Constructors; he spent the majority of his career as an Elevator Technician for Schindler Elevator Corporation in Southern California. Edgar and Becky relocated to Prescott, Arizona after retirement. They enjoyed the natural beauty surrounding the Prescott area and loved to travel the world. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Becky, brothers, Bill and Jon, step-children, Aaron Edgell, David Edgell, and Sarah May, and five grandchildren: Max & Olivia Rhodes, Noel May, and Emily & Claire Edgell. Due to these Covid 19 times, a private memorial will be planned for a later date.
