Earl William Harshman died Thursday, October 28, 2010 at Hospice Family Care, the Crossings, in Prescott, Arizona. He was born December 27, 1921 in Connellsville, Pennsylvania. Earl was 88 years old. Earl enlisted and served our country in the United States Marine Corps. He participated in action against the Japanese at Kwajalein, Saipan-Tinian, and Iwo Jima. He was later involved with the assault and seizure of Inchon, Korea, the capture and securing of Seoul, Korea, and participated in the Wonsan-Hungnam-Chosin Reservoir Campaign in Northern Korea. After being Honorable Discharged from the United States Marine Corps, Earl continued his truck driving skills and worked as test driver driving semi-tractors. He was a member of the Word of Life Assembly of God Church and enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. Earl loved his family and he will be greatly missed. He is preceded in death by his wife, Sybil, on May 10, 2010 and is survived by his sons; Robert L. Harshman & his wife, Bertha, of Maricopa, AZ., Michael Harshman & his wife, Sandra, of Gilbert, AZ., daughter, Doris Marie Harshman of Prescott, AZ., 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Visitation 10:00 ~ 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 6, 2010 followed by a celebration of Earl's life starting at 11:00 a.m. at the Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home, 303 South Cortez St., corner of Cortez St. and Carlton St., in Prescott, Arizona
