Duane W. Bolze

Duane died December 9, 2006 in Phoenix, Arizona.  He was born May 28, 1931 in Walnut, Kansas; the son of Irwin and Elizabeth Bolze.  Duane was 75 years old. Duane was the third of four children growing up on a farm in Kansas and sharing his childhood with his brother, Merlin and sisters, Wanda and Kathleen.  He proudly served in the Marine Corp during the Korean War and later earned his law degree at Washburn Law School in Topeka, Kansas.  He moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1958 and began practicing law.  Duane earned great respect from both the courts and bar, a practice he pursued until his death.  Phoenix quickly became his home, the place he loved and raised his family and where he has shared his life with all those around him. Pop loved the Lord, had a kind, gentle soul and a servants heart.  He loved his wife and family with all his heart and he will be deeply missed by all those who had the blessing to come to know him and whose hearts he touched. Duane is survived by his wife, Betty Bolze, his sons, Craig and Eric Bolze, his daughter Leslie Curiel, and their families.
