Dorothy Jean Fellows

Dorothy J. Fellows, age 91, passed peacefully on Wednesday June 20th in Prescott Valley Arizona.  She was born December 13th, 1926, in Dayton Ohio to Chester and Laura Mendenhall. Dorothy was a spiritual woman devoted to her faith in God, lover of children, music lover, excellent dancer, enjoyed camping, avid bird watcher and a skilled painter.  Her favorite bird to watch and paint was the Red Male Northern Cardinal.  Although she enjoyed exploring her artistic talent on many different mediums her favorite was oil painting. Dorothy was preceded in death by her daughter Carol Chaney in 1946 and her first husband William “Bill” Chaney in 1979. Dorothy is survived by her second husband of 33 years Francis J. Fellows, eleven step-children; Kevin, Karen, Gary, Gail, Marjorie, Raymond, Bernice, Francis J. Jr., Brendan, Roberta and David. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
