Donald Ray Dickerson, 90, of Prescott Valley, passed away peacefully at home on June 13, 2016, after a brief period of illness. Don is survived by his four children: Barbara Andres, Sarah Kime, Marsha Dickerson and Clifford Dickerson. He also leaves behind six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.Don was proud of serving his country as a marine in WWII in the Pacific. He was an amphibious tractor operator and took part in the initial push to take control of the island of Okinawa. Later he was stationed on Guam. He carried the "can do" attitude he learned in the military into all aspects of his life after his service years. He worked for Union Carbide most of his career, starting as a salesman, and ending his career as a regional sales manager. He enjoyed shooting, boating and dirt bikes, and had a life long weakness for See's nuts and chews. The family is planning to celebrate his life with a BBQ on July 3rd in Prescott Valley. Extended family and friends are invited to call Clifford, Sarah or Marsha for details. Condolences may be sent to www.wakelinbradshaw.com.
