We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Diana Leigh Petroff Beneitone, who departed this life on November 29, 2024, in Prescott, Arizona, surrounded by her loving family and friends.

Diana was born in Chicago, Illinois, and grew up in the Roseland neighborhood, where she formed the values of kindness, faith, and community that would define her life. She later made her home in Prescott, Arizona, where she lived for nearly 50 years and became a beloved member of the community.

Diana's career at the Prescott YMCA began with humble beginnings as a volunteer. Through her dedication, passion, and leadership, she worked her way up becoming the Associate Executive Director, where she made a profound impact on countless lives. Her unwavering commitment to service and her community was a hallmark of her life's work.

A cherished daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and incredible friend, Diana touched countless lives with her warmth and love. She shared over 40 wonderful years with her husband, Lou Beneitone, and was the proud and devoted mother of five children and grandmother to 12 grandchildren. Her family was the light of her life, and she took immense joy in their accomplishments, always offering unwavering love and support.

Deeply rooted in her faith, Diana worked closely with her Catholic Church, finding joy and fulfillment in her devotion and service to others.

Prescott held a special place in Diana's heart, and she adored the community she called home. Her generosity, radiant spirit, and tireless efforts to uplift those around her left a lasting legacy of love and compassion.

Diana Leigh Petroff Beneitone's life was a beautiful example of faith, love, and selflessness. Though her absence leaves a void, her memory will forever inspire and comfort those who knew and loved her.
