Dewey Bing Nelson, Jr.

Dewey Bing Nelson, Jr. died March 24, 2015 at his home in Prescott. He was born February 16, 1946: the son of Dewey and Helen (Talawytewa) Nelson. Sr. Dewey retired as the groundskeeper for Parks and Rec. for the city of Prescott. He loved sports and being out doors. He enjoyed painting the backdrops for Prescott High School theatrical productions. Dewey was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was very grateful for his children and his contributions of service to his community and his church. Dewy is survived by his wife, Louisa; daughter Cassie (Denny) Mitchell; son Dewey B. Nelson III, grandchildren Maya, Caden and Jonah and brother Donald K. Nelson of Prescott.
