Dennis Kenton Wick

Dennis Wick passed away January 1, 2021 after a short battle with Covid 19.  Dennis was born March 26, 1945 in Chicago, Illinois and grew up in Champaign, Illinois. He joined the U.S. Navy at 17 and served proudly for nine years.  Upon discharge he received a B.A. in Administration of Justice from Golden Gate University in San Francisco, California.  He was in law enforcement for 30 years, nearly all of it in Half Moon Bay, California, where he was Chief of Police for the last 11 years before retirement.  
He and his wife Cindy retired in 2002 and moved to Prescott, Arizona. They have both loved living in Prescott for nearly 19 years. Since their retirement they have enjoyed traveling the country and visiting family in the Midwest and East.  
Dennis is survived by his wife of 35 years, Cindy, his sons Kenton Wick and William Terry, Kenton’s wife Tricia and their two sons Justin and Ryan. William lives in Prescott, Kenton and family reside in Lakeway, Texas.  He also leaves behind his sisters Linda and Beverly, brothers Michael (Janet) and Steven.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Mariana, his brother Jim and son Justin Terry. 
Due to these Covid 19 times a gathering of family and friends to celebrate Dennis’s life will be decided at a later time.
