Dennis Leroy Engle

In loving memory of Dennis "Big D" Engle, we bid farewell to a remarkable individual who touched the lives of many. Dennis passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 6th, with his loving wife at his bedside.

Born on August 9th 1965 in Phoenix Arizona, he was a cherished member of his community. He will be remembered for his perseverance, sense of humor, and his diligence, and love for his family. Dennis was a Critical Care Nurse who dedicated most his life in service to others. His unwavering commitment and tireless efforts made a significant impact on the lives of countless individuals.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Dennis was known for his kind and compassionate nature. He always had a warm smile and a helping hand for anyone in need. His generosity and selflessness touched the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

In his free time, Dennis enjoyed challenging himself with mountain biking, and trying to find his next bike race. He also enjoyed playing chess, and someday wanting to become a Grand Master. Whether it was working in the garden or spending time with family, he found joy and solace in pursuing his passions. Dennis had a zest for life and approached every challenge with a positive attitude and determination that inspired those around them.

Dennis leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and resilience. He will be deeply missed by his wife, June, his Mother Pamela and Step Father, John. His Father Greg, brother Evan, sister Collette, his niece Kayla, his nephew Stan, and his 5 children TJ(married to Elise), Joshua(married to Cassie), Sarah(married to Dave), Elizabeth, and Benjamin, as well as his 6 grandchildren, Violet, Ronan, Evelyn, Emerson, Willow, and Arrow. Though his physical presence may be gone, his spirit will forever live on in the memories and hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have shared in his life.

A celebration of Dennis's life will be held on July 27th, 2024 at the LDS church on 1101 Sandretto Dr Prescott Arizona 87305, at 1pm. The service will be followed by a flag ceremony, and refreshments. May we find solace in the memories we shared with Dennis and continue to honor his legacy by living our lives with the same passion and love he exemplified.

Rest in peace, dear Dennis. You will forever be in our hearts.
