Demecia Rodarte, also known as ?Dee?, age 95, died Sunday, May 23, 2010 at Hospice Family Care in Tucson, Arizona. She was born in Mexico on October 31, 1914 and the daughter of Rafaila Hernandez. She was a great wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. Dee was a stay ?at-home mom and always took care of her children, whom she always put first. She was employed at the Mata Dexter Elementary School working in the cafeteria. Dee and her husband, Angel, were both members of Sacred Heart Church Choir. She loved to cook, sew, garden and always took care of her grandchildren. One thing she loved doing was making pajamas for her grandchildren. What she did the best was making the world?s best flour tortillas and refried beans. She is the one that taught her son, Ralph how to drive an automobile. She was loved by her husband, Angel, who preceded her in death on March 12, 2010. Dee is survived by her sons; Angel Rodarte, Jr. and his wife, Lucy, Ralph F. Rodarte and his wife, Lucille, daughters; Rosie Lopez and her husband John, Hortencia Diaz and her husband Ted, grandchildren; Michael Thomas Rodarte, John A. Rodarte and his wife Michelle, Laura Sperry and her husband Chris, David Rodarte and his wife Tiffany, Michael Ray Rodarte and his wife Brenda, Ralph F. Rodarte, Jr. and his wife Erika, Daniel Ray Rodarte and his wife Mary, Monica Rodarte, John Lopez, Jr., Paul Lopez, Chris Lopez and Olivia, Stephanie Lopez, Jessica Lopez, Erica Lopez, Veronica Palacio and her husband Chas, Donnie Diaz and his wife Nereyde, Vickie Cuen and her husband Manny, Angie Sallas and her husband Tony, Robert Diaz, Josie Sandoval and her husband Ben, great grandchildren; Natasha Rodarte, Kimberly Rodarte, Samantha Rodarte, Chase Rodarte, Joshua Rodarte, Rachel Rodarte, Tiffany Arredondo, Ricardo Arredondo, Brianna Sperry, Jazyman Rodarte, Jacob Rodarte, Jordan Rodarte, Derrick Rodarte, Shannel Rodarte, Alexandra Rodarte, Paul Rodarte, Michael A. Rodarte and his wife Randi, Jason Lopez, Nadyia Lopez, Nakai Lopez, Alex Lopez, Ruby Guevara, Selena Montoya and her husband Pete, Donnie Diaz, Jr., Adrianna Diaz, Sabrina Espinoza, Mercedes Del Rio, Tiera Sallas, Toni Sallas, Angel Sallas, Sarah Sandoval, Benny Sandoval, Gabriel Sandoval, great great grandchildren; Connor Rodarte, Michael A. Rodarte, Jr., Adam Montoya, Markie Montoya, Alexiah Diaz, Alivah Diaz, Dominic Diaz, and Avianie Diaz. Dee is preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
