Delores Erickson

Delores Erickson, age 89 of Prescott, went home to heaven on April 9, 2022.

Delores was born in Cambridge, Minnesota on August 24, 1932. She and her husband of 66 years, Virgil, moved to Arizona from Minnesota in 1978. They owned and operated a bakery in MN and were both in the bakery business until they retired. Delores was a cake decorator and made many beautiful cakes over the years. She was also a very accomplished seamstress. They enjoyed traveling and towed their travel trailer all over the US and parts of Canada.

Delores was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil. She is survived by her two daughters, Sheryl (Jack) Cutler and Charlene (Ken) Knowles; two grandsons, Scott (Akiko) Cutler and Dustin Knowles; two great-grandchildren, Keith and Mia Cutler; and a sister, Shirley Eklund.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at Ruffner-Wakelin Funeral Home, 303 S. Cortez St., Prescott. Interment will be at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
