Delores 'Dee' Jacobus

Delores “Dee” Renee Jacobus, 78, of Dewey, AZ passed away August 14, 2014 at her home. Dee was born November 17, 1935 in Seattle, WA. She was the only child of Ernest and Verona Wright. Dee is survived by her loving Husband Vern Jacobus of Dewey, AZ, her Children Scott Jacobus of Dewey, AZ, Phillip Jacobus of Prescott Valley, AZ, Amy Jacobus of Phoenix, AZ and Earl Garrett of Hereford, AZ, Grandchildren Amanda, Sammy, Aubrey, Eric, Holly, Tiffany and April, and Great-Grandchildren Madison, Lyjah, and two more on the way. Dee was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 78 in Humboldt. She enjoyed horseback riding, camping, bird hunting, and target shooting. Dee was very proud of her career as a legal accountant and of her beloved dog “Tina”. A committal service will be held for Dee on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix, at 11:00 am.
