Delmar M. Oliver

Delmar M. Oliver passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2016 in Prescott Valley, Arizona.  He was born July 17, 1919 in Buckeye, Arizona, the son of Jesse and Elizabeth (Tucker) Oliver.  Delmar was 97 years old. Delmar served in the United States Marine Corps and then worked as a smelter operator in the copper mines.  He enjoyed spending time with his wife and extended family, playing and storytelling with his grandchildren, traveling, gardening and fixing things. Delmar always received compliments about how beautiful his roses looked in his yard.  Delmar is preceded in death by his wife Jeavene and grandson Robert. He is survived by his children; Christine Lane of Prescott, AZ, Melanie Lucero and her husband Corey of Elko, NV, Russell Oliver and his wife Lita of Alturas, CA, grandchildren; Corey, Timothy, Adrienne, Sharon, Benjamin, Aubrie, Talhan, great-grandchildren; Caysha, Michael, Anthony, Andrew, Natalie, ShyAnn, Ashya, Mia, Oliva, great great-grandchildren; Sutton, Brielle, and Cassius.  Delmar was most proud of his family and to have served his country in the United States Marine Corps.  He will truly be missed by those who loved him.
