Deborah Paglia

Deborah Paglia, 82, passed away in Phoenix, AZ on December 13, 2014. She was born on September 15, 1932 in Ontario, Canada. Debbie is survived by her loving children Stephen (Cathy) Paglia of Prescott, AZ and Sherilyn (Dennis) Templeton of Chandler, AZ; brothers Jim and David; and grandchildren Denae, Heather, Stephen, Katie, John, Lainey, and Callie. She was preceded in death by her parents Salvatore and Stefana Infurnari (of Racalmuto, Sicily and Ontario, Canada); her brothers Joe, John and Charlie; her sisters Susan, Mary, Phyllis and Lillian; and by her loving husband Sam Paglia. Sam and Deb came to Arizona in 1956 as church planters, and ministered in small mining towns including Klondyke, Arizona, and in Kanab, Utah. Sam passed away June 19, 1964. Debbie courageously and faithfully raised her children, Sherilyn and Stephen, by herself while working as a records clerk for the City of Phoenix. Debbie was a member of the Verde Baptist Church in Cottonwood and Bethel Baptist Church in Phoenix. She enjoyed gardening and was very proud of her children and grandchildren. She was devoted to following the Lord, and that legacy continues through her children and grandchildren. 2 Timothy 4:7-8 is a beautiful example of her life and hope.
