David M Bowers

David M Bowers was born Aug. 19, 1934 in Canton, OH. He passed away July 8, 2018, in Prescott Valley, AZ. He is survived by his wife Nancy of 59 years. He graduated from ASU in 1956 and was an integral part of Prescott history as the comptroller of the Prescott Hospital, which is now YRMC, from 1961-66. He owned and operated the computer service business CSA in Prescott from 1966-85. In 1985 he and Nancy opened the Prescott Flower Shop and ran it until its sale in 2005. He also served as the president of the Prescott Rotary Club. He and his wife raised 4 children, all of whom went to Prescott High School.David is preceded in death by his son Steve Bowers. He is survived by his sisters Beverly Wildish and Susan Curtis (Russ), his son Daniel Bowers (Melissa), daughter Martha Borman (Karl), and son Tim Bowers (Kristen), as well as 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Canyon Bible Church of Prescott. www.canyonprescott.org    Services will be held Saturday, July 21st at 11:00 AM at the Heights Church, 2121 Larry Caldwell Dr., Prescott, AZ 86301.
