David Lee Wold

David Lee Wold, 75, of Prescott Valley, Arizona, went home to be with the Lord on January 20, 2009. He was born on February 7, 1933 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, to Lloyd and Laura (Eggers) Wold.  David was a veteran and served in the United States Navy from 1951 to 1955.  After his military service, David attended college and graduated from the University of Vermillion, South Dakota with a degree in journalism. In August 1984 David married Patty Meyers.  In 1988 they moved to Prescott Valley from Phoenix.  David felt as if he'd come home because he loved this area so much. David is survived by his loving wife, Patty; daughter Shannon of Scottsdale, Arizona; sister Diane DeHaner of Chino Valley, Arizona; brother Larry of Glendale, Arizona; many nieces and nephews. David will be remembered for his great sense of humor and making everyone laugh.  His passing has left an emptiness in our lives.  He is this world's loss and Heaven's gain.
