Daniel George Repony

On February 21st 2016, Daniel George Repony, aged 70 years & 2 mos succumbed to his long battle with failing health. Dan was born to Walter C & Isabel (Whitley) Repony on 21 November 1945 in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania.

After graduating from high school in Tucson, Dan did a stint in the service of his country, married and began his family.

Dan was a general contractor in Scottsdale, Arizona concentrate-ing mostly on horse ranches and horse pools. Because of his health, he and his wife, Linda moved to Ash Fork in 2004. 

For relaxation Dan had many interests. He loved to fly until health issues closed thatdoor to him. Dan loved history and all things historical, vintage airplanes and cars and had an enviable collection of N scale trains. Dan liked to tinker, and always had one project or another in the works.  

Dan and Linda were long time supporters and sponsors of National Livestock show. His real passion, however, were the various Masonic organizations he belonged to. He was an active member of Prescott Aztlan Lodge #1 and Central Arizona Lodge #14 as well as holding active memberships in a number of York Rite and Masonic bodies. 

Among awards conferred on him for his work within Free Masonery are the General Grand Chapter Bronze Award, the Grand Encampment KT Cross of Honor and the Grand Lodge F&AM of Arizona Distinguished Service Medal.  

Surviving are his wife, Linda, his children - April, Dan and Sandra, his grandchildren, nephews, mother-in-law Marjorie Orean, and his many friends and acquaintances. Dan was predeceased by his parents & his sister, Nancy Repony Bowman.
