Daniel Evans Fitzpatrick

Daniel E. Fitzpatick, EdD. died November 5, 2012 at Yavapai Regional Medical Center. He was born December 20, 1921 in Gettysberg, Pa; the son of Leo J. and Shirley E. (Evans) Fitzpatrick, Daniel was 80 years old. Daniel served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He graduated from Bloomberg with a BA and Temple with a Masters, both in Elementary Education and from Nova with a Doctrate in Educations. Daniel retired in the late eighties as Asst. Supertendent of Area District Schools in Souderton, Pa. Daniel had many interests. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Antelope Hills Mens Group. He was avid groumet cook who enjoyed growing his own fresh herbs and vegtables along with flowers to decorate the table. He enjoyed traveling and fly fishing. He share many fly fishing trips with the family even going to New Zealand to fish. Daniel is survived by Joanne, his beloved wife of 56 years; son, Leo James of PA, daughters Elizabeth (Richard) Arner and Susan (Michael) Dorner both of CA; his sister Mary Frances Miller of CA; and his grandchildren.
