Dale died as a faithful witness of Jehovah for 55 years. He loved the ministry and took the lead so he and his wife of 56 years could serve Jehovah side by side.
Dale struggled most of his life with diabetes and though he was often tired from the disease he put forth the effort to be out as often as he could.
Dale is the father of one daughter and a son who passed away in 2006. He has four great grandchildren in Redmond, Oregon by a grandson whom he helped raise as an infant for two years. He also had 2 other grandsons.
Dale had a sense of humor and said if he could make someone laugh and put a smile on their face, that would make his day.
He loved to work with his hands as he was a carpenter/builder and worked on puzzles as his hobby. He kept his vocabulary sharp by doing daily crossword puzzles in pen. Living in Kenai, AK he was an avid fisherman of Salmon and trout. He had the excitement of catching a 50 pound King Salmon in the famous Kenai River. Sometimes he could be found on the beach digging up clams. He also loved to go to the sandy beaches in Hawaii to break up the long winters in Alaska.
His favorite example of the resurrection was Lazarus where Jesus said at John 11:25 "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who exercises faith in me even though he dies, will come to life."
