Curtis Leon Tomlinson, 57, of Peoria, Arizona, died Sunday, March 19 at Bob Stump VA Medical Center; Curtis was born December 3, 1948 in Junction, Texas; the son of Marvin and Allie Mae (Twilley) Tomlinson. Curtis served with distinction in the United States Army during the Viet Nam War. He was awarded the Bronze Star. He enjoyed being out of doors; be it fishing, camping or playing a round of golf. He enjoyed traveling. He had been an roofer before his illness. His greatest pride were his Army medals and his children. Curtis is survived by his daughters; Tammy Hensley and Sylvia (Robert) Wood: brothers; ERnest (Diane), Joseph (Kim) and James; sisters; Karen (Rick) Hamm, Brenda Tomlinson, Dianne Zapata, Anita (Chris) King and Evelyn (Tony) Guevar. Curtis was preceded in death by his parents and sisters; Dorothy Flanagan, Linda and Diane Tomlinson.
