Yesterday we said goodbye to one of the greatest people I’ve ever known. Grandpa Clemens lived 92 incredible years. Reflecting on our time together, I cannot help but be inspired by his life. Grandpa was one of the most kind, patient, and positive people on this earth. Through his time as a school teacher, guidance counselor, sports coach, friend, and family man he had an impact an uncountable number of lives. Grandpa was known for his positive attitude, friendliness, and general orneriness. He genuinely cared about everyone he met. Grandpa taught me so much about life simply through his actions in daily life. He lived with passion and gratefulness for all that life had to offer, and I think we can all aspire to live like he did. Grandpa will be dearly missed, but his memory and legacy will live on through the thousands of people who had the opportunity of meeting him. So Cheers Grandpa – I love you and here’s to a life well lived.
