Colvin Smith

Colvin "Bus" Smith died peacefully at his home in Dewey, Arizona on February 5, 2005. He was born in DeQueen, Arkansas on January 5, 1917, the son of Colvin and Irene (Rucker) Smith. Bus had a long and healthy 88 years. After a successful career in banking, he retired as CEO and President of Nevada State Bank in 1980. Upon his retirement, he and his wife moved to Dewey, Arizona whre he pursued his love of golf and grequently travelled with his wife in their motor home. Bus is survived by Ruth, his loving and caring wife of 67 years, daughter and son-in-law; Kathy and Bud Franklin of Henderson, Nevada, his son; Steve Smith of Littlefield, Arizona. Bus is also survived by his grandchildren; Victoria, Glenn and Lisa, and great grandchildrenl; Emily, Robert, Heather, Laura, Elin, TJ and Alex.
