Cletus J. 'Dick' Kapper

Cletus J. "Dick" Kapper, (formerly of Decatur, Illinois) age 90, died January 28, 2011 at Good Samaritan Society Marley House in Prescott, Arizona. He was born October 29, 1920 Stringtown, Illinois, the son of Joseph and Mary (Zwilling) Kapper.
Dick served in the U.S. Army in WWII. He married Doris R. O\'Hern May 22, 1948 While in Decatur, Illinois, he was a member of St. James Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus and was employed at Miller O\'Neill. When he retired, he and his wife moved to Prescott, Arizona in 1987 and were active at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Dick is survived by his son, Ronald (Nadine) Kapper of Grass Valley, California, his daughter, Rosemary Cookie (Larry) Kane of Joliet, Illinois, step-grandson, Brad (Janie) Kane and step-great grandsons, Brandon and Cooper, of Forsyth, Illinois, and sister, Dorothy Volk, of Washington, Illinois. His wife, Doris, preceded him in death on August 12, 2010.
A celebration Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 5, 2011 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Prescott, Arizona, with private inurnment at Mountain View Cemetery, Prescott, Arizona.
