Christine Scroggins

Christine Scroggins, 64 of Jerome AZ passed away unexpectedly at her home on Nov. 14th, 2013. Chris had retired in 2011 from a career in Education after many years as a Teacher and Counselor. She taught at the Page Middle School in Page AZ and was a counselor at the Camp Verde Elementary School. She attended Washington High School in Phoenix AZ and graduated from NAU with both her Bachelor’s of Science in 1979 and her Master of Arts in Education in 1985. She will be remembered for her compassion and dedication to her students, the laughter she shared with her family and her love for reading. She is survived by her son Jesse Henke of Phoenix; her grandson Robbie Nels Henke of Jamestown, New York; and her mother Irene Bever and two sisters Carol Bever and Connie Strayer, all residing in the San Francisco Bay area.
