Charles Ross

Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, great great grandfather, son, brother, uncle, cousin, friend, and neighbor graduated to his heavenly home December 11, 2020. He will be greatly missed by all. His quiet humble spirit spoke volumes, even when he didn’t say anything. His faith in Jesus and his family were his priorities. He made a lasting impression on those whose lives he touched. 

Originally born in Arkansas, he moved with his family to California. When he was 12 yrs old his father died tragically. Charles and his older brother went to work to support the family. Charles had to grow up fast, childhood was over, responsibility would always be in his thoughts. Charles always worked hard and strived to do his best, whether working his ranch and working at Lindsay Olive Growers; then as vice president at Coca-Cola Los Angeles; then as Director of Distribution at Tri-Valley Growers; and retiring as Vice President at Stanislaus Foods in Modesto, CA. 

After retiring he and his wife, Rebecca moved to La Pine, Oregon for 10 years, before moving to Prescott, AZ in 2017.  He loved nature, gardening, RV-ing, reading, and his two little dogs. He was a member of Willow Hills Baptist Church in Prescott. His favorite hymn was “Because He Lives”.  Charles believed that he could face anything in this life with the help of his Savior, Jesus Christ.  His prayer would be for all reading this to know Jesus, as your Savior.  Celebrate your heavenly home our beloved Charles, till we reunite some sweet day.
