Carmen Esther Carter

Carmen Esther Carter died on July 2, 2008 at Yavapai Regional Medical Center in Prescott, AZ. She was 69 years old. Carmen was born June 23, 1939 in Puerto Rico to Shirley & Maria Carter.  Carmen worked as a caregiver in the Medical field, helping others is what made her happy. She was a resident of Yavapai County for 5 years and previously lived in California. Carmen was a proud member of the Living Church of God in Prescott Valley and a volunteer at the Prescott Valley Senoir Center Meals on Wheels Program and the New Hope Foundation. She enjoyed reading, writing, poetry, songs, and mostly her faith in God, who she is now with, she is shown to us in the rainbows of the sky. The Old Mill Restaurant is where Carmen loved to hang out and chat with all her friends and be the social butterfly that she was with all her charm and grace. I am sure she is still there is spirit! Carmen was proudest of her son Mark & wife Donna and her 25 years of sobriety.  Carmen will be greatly missed. Carmen E. Carter is survived by son Mark and Wife Donna of Prescott Valley, and her two grandchildren Sean & Jim.
