Three years later Brenda and Bob were married in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Brenda left the Army in 1982 and she and Bob moved to Maryland almost a year later. In June of 1984 Brenda began working as a language analyst for a national Intelligence Agency.
Brenda was a licensed amateur radio operator (Call sign KB3ATI) and she was also a photographer. In 2004 an image she captured was on the cover a national magazine devoted to Amateur Radio.
Brenda retired from Government service in 2015 and a few months later she and Bob and their son Ryan, moved into their new home in Prescott Valley.
Brenda loved being retired but still kept busy. For a while she was the president of the local garden club and later joined the Friends of the Prescott Valley Library.
Brenda is survived by her husband, Bob, their son Ryan, and her sister Andrea Shaw.
