Billy Lynn Flowers

Billy (Bill) Lynn Flowers, 87, A long time resident of Prescott died peacefully in hospice care on July 27th, 2023 after a brief illness. Born in Yazoo City, Mississippi, Bill joined the United States Airforce where he flew reconnaissance missions over the USSR. Following his service in the Airforce, Bill was the first in his family to attend college where he earned a degree in economics from the University of Southern Mississippi. After a successful business career in California, Bill owned multiple thoroughbreds and enjoyed the excitement of horse racing. Bill's true passion was Gold, it was always on his mind even in his last days. He enjoyed researching old maps and lore about lost locations and would travel all over the southwest United States searching for the "motherload". He loved the Bradshaw Mountains and I know that is why he called Prescott home. He had an amazing and unique personality, always joking and smiling, he was full of stories and loved to share them with whoever would listen. Bill was always genuine to himself and followed his dreams. He will be missed greatly by his friends and family. He is survived by his loving partner Carolyn Baker and their dog GiGi, his son, Jason Flowers, his granddaughter, Dakotah Flowers, his brother and sister-in-law Bob and Barbara Flowers and their family. He will be laid to rest at the Prescott National Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held privately at a later date.
