Bill Daniel

Bill Daniel, 81, died Sunday, March 5, 2006 at Las Fuentes Care Center in Prescott, Arizona. He was born July 28, 1924 in Lindsey, California; the son of Carl and Evelyn (Lyall) Daniel. Bill served his country in the United States Navy during World War II and was honorably discharged. Bill had met his first wife June who preceded him in death. He worked as a truck driver for many years and was retired. Bill later met and married Vickie Buxton on August 10, 1998. Bill was a member of the American Legion Post #104 and the NRA. He was a lover of the out doors, enjoying camping, hunting and fishing. Bill also enjoyed watching football; but his passion was his four-wheeler. Bill was proud of his family. Bill is survived by his wife Vickie who shared 7 loving years together. His children and their spouses; Robyn & Jerry Perkins of Wickenburg, Mike Daniel of Flagstaff, Nadean & Bob Pearl of Wickenburg, Lynn  & Terry Greene of Chino Valley, David & Veronica Daniel of Wickenburg, Christy & Clyde Carson of Hillside, Lisa & Nick Jones of Lexington, OK and Joe Don Hilburn of Frederick, OK. Bill is also survived by his brothers and their wives and his sisters and their husbands; Richard & Mary Lee Daniel of Boulder, NV, Jim & Jan Rudy of Bagdad, Vivian Dillard of Wickenburg, Jackie & John Allen of Congress, Jeri & Lowell Duncan of Denton, TX and Doris & Ken Brockway of Concho. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Karen, Bill, Karri, Kristopher, Ethan, Brian, Katie, Niki, Mindy, Suzi, Jessie, Travis, Tyler and Trent and 14 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 9th from 3 to 5 p.m. at Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home, Corner of Cortez and Carleton Streets, Prescott. A Celebration of Bill?s life will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, March 10th at Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Prescott with full military honors by Post #6 American Legion in Prescott with assistance for Post #104 in Bagdad
