Beverly Kay Latham

Beverly " Kay " Latham passed away on July 10, 2008 at The Bob Stump VA Medical Center Hospice Unit in Prescott Arizona. She was 70 years young. Kay was born July 2, 1938 in Snyder, Texas to Oscar D. Weir & Katherine Laverne Smallwood. Kay married her soulmate Jim Harvey Latham on August 11, 1979, they shared many happy years of love and happiness together. After retiring from the Navy of which she was very proud to have served her Counrty, she worked as a rate clerk for Trans Continental Trucking Company. Kay moved to Arizona in 2000 and previously resided in California. While in Arizona, her two lovely daughters Celeste and Cynthia, took amazing care of there mother with great care and compassion. Kay was a proud member of The Point Loma, California LDS 7th Ward and was an active participant in Church gatherings and socials. Sailing was a huge passion of Kay's, along with her love of the ocean, she felt at home on the water.  Kay and late husband Jim, greatly enjoyed watching sports together on T.V. whether it was football, baseball  or basketball, she was watching. Occasionally you would even see her playing with her nintendo or computer electronics. Kay was proudest of her family and all the time she spent with them, all of those memories will stay with her forever. She will be greatly missed............................................ Beverly " Kay " Latham is survived by Daughters; Celeste and husband James Hildreth of Prescott Valley, AZ - Cynthia Latham of Prescott Valley, Az - Sister; Jean and husband Dan Albarado of Wimberley, Texas - Grandchildren; Randall, Shauna, Richard, Timothy, Shannon, Brad and Gregory.
