Bette J Smith

Bette J. Smith, age 100, of Prescott AZ passed away on February 8, 2023.

She was born in Camden NJ, to the late Earl R. Smith Sr. and Miriam Ruth Smith. Her beloved brother, Earl R. Smith Jr., passed earlier in 2006.

She had polio as a child at the age of 4, but it never stopped her from anything she put her mind to, ask anybody that knew her.

Bette was the Assistant Executive Director of the New Jersey Dental Association for 24 ½ years. A dependable, loyal member that was always ready with a smile and as her family knew, she also always had good advice to share.

Bette was a beloved member of the community and an avid quilter, she could frequently be found with her quilting group, or collecting her passion of “Lions” on one form or the other.

Bette is survived by two nephews, and two nieces. She is also survived by many grandnieces and grandnephews. She will be truly missed, but she would be the first to tell you that she enjoyed a long, and happy life.

As per her request, she will be cremated, she also requested no memorial, and her ashes will be keep by her nephew Glenn as a memorial to her lifelong guidance.
