She volunteered many hours at the Veterans Administration in Prescott, Arizona where they made their home for more than twenty years, having moved there from Santa Barbara, California.\r\n
She and her husband Bill loved to travel and did so extensively, seeing much of this country, Europe and England. Bernice also loved flowers and music. She was a member of the Prescott Community Church where she was in the choir for over ten years. She leaves a son and daughter-in-law, David and Priscilla Ducharme of Phoenix, a grandson, Matthew, two granddaughters, Amanda and Jessica, two great-granddaughters, Anicia and Anne, and a great-grandson, Judah.
