Vincent died November 9, 2005 at the Arizona Pioneers' Home. He was born November 10, 1918 in Norfork, Virginia; the son of Bass Columbus and Minnie Lee (Plumbley) Cole. Vincent died just the day before his 87th birthday. Vincent had lived in Arizona 53 years. He had been an Arizona Ranger in his younger days. He enjoyed time astride his horse in the beautiful Arizona countryside. He enjoyed spending time with his family and the time he spent living at the Pioneer Home. Vincent was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He is survived by his daughters; Loretta (Howard) Glenn of Phoenix, Evelyn (Larry) DeWitt of Prescott and Nita Summers of Peoria; son, David Cole of Phoenix, brother Cecil (Lil) of Cherrylog, GA and sisters; Helen (Art) Ashcraft and Dotti (Les) Cole-Snyder both of Phoenix; grandchildren; Steven, Tamara, Suzan, Brandon, Danielle, Dusti, Baron, Brook and Nicole; great grandchildren; Heather, Chandler, Kira, Kaya, Sabrina, Stephanie, Preston, Payton, Parker, Tyler, Adrianna and Jonathan and great great grandsons Brougan and Donovan and long-time friend and companion Anna Suever. Vincent was preceded in death by his parents; sister Virginia and Grandsons Scott Smith and Devin Kromschroeder. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
