Barbara J. Funk

Barbara J. Funk age 71, died March 27, 2010 at the Crossings in Prescott, Arizona. She was born in Clinton, Iowa; the daughter of Charles and Norma (Holcomb) Leavens.              Barbara loved to cook, especially for her family.  She was proudest of her granddaughters; Katie and Megan and her close friends.   The family would like to express their gratitude to all of Barbara?s neighbors especially; Glen and Terri Dundus, Dr. Jim Tilley, Dr. Patrick Kadrmas, May Williman and Pam Wickstrom for their loving care of their mother and to Dr. Edwards for his care and extended life he and the Mayo Clinc gave Barbara. His patience with his patients is extrodinary.   Barbara is survived by her sons: Bill (Josie) of Cincinnati, Ohio and Jim of Las Vegas, Nevada; her brothers Chuck (Helen) of Clinton, Iowa and Norman (Marie) of Showlow, Arizona  and sister Lois DeSpain of Pallup, Washington and her beloved granddaughters; Katie and Megan  She was preceded in death by her husband Larry, in 2004 and her sister, Margaret.
