Augustin Desoto, Jr.

In the afternoon of February 24, 2016, the Lord decided to call Augustin DeSoto, Jr., home following a battle with cancer and hospitalization.  Gus, as he was called by his friends and family, was born in Bakersfield, California, on July 12, 1948.  He was the oldest of five siblings who lived most of their lives in Stockton, California.  For the past 11 years he, his wife, Tammy, and children, Renee and Joey, had made their home in Prescott Valley. Previous to retirement, Gus worked in radio, television and information technology. He continued to use his skill in computers helping family, friends, and neighbors. He will be missed greatly.

Gus is survived by his wife, Tammy; children Renee and Joseph; brother Adrian; and sisters Luisa, Patricia, and Linda. He was predeceased by his father and mother Augustin, Sr. and Luisa.
