Anna Mary (Fornara) Olsen passed peacefully into the arms of her savior on Sunday, June 8th, 2014. The room at Marley House in Prescott was packed with loving family members and friends who had been at her side constantly during her last days. Ann was born in Jerome, Arizona on July 26th, 1930 to Angelo and Elvezia (Gilardi) Fornara. She has many Fornara and Savoini cousins still living in the Prescott area. She was preceded in death in death by her father, Angelo, her mother Elvezia, and her brother, Robert. Survivors include her husband of 64 years, John Olsen, children Kathy (Steve) Sischka, Mike (Sherrill) Olsen, Dan (Barb) Olsen, Marie (Steve) Cobb, and Grandchildren, Kelly (Aaron) Grose, Mark Sischka, Kyle (Tasha) Olsen, Karen (Tom) Gibbs, Clint Olsen, Jeff Olsen, Kristi (Warren) Hubbard, and Kari Staubus. Great-Grandchildren are Ally Hubbard, Liliana Sischka, Jack Grose, and Landon Olsen. Ann was a gifted musician and played the piano, organ and accordion at many social events and Sacred Heart Church Services throughout the years. Her true essence can be found in her extreme love for her family, her willingness to participate in the community, her loyalty to her friends, her hospitality to all who entered her home, and her love of her Catholic Faith.
