Andrew J Lowry
Born in Columbus, Ohio, September 14, 1956, Andy lost his 2-and-a-half-year battle with lung cancer on July 13, 2023.
In his early years, Andy was an amateur chemist, magician, and train enthusiast. He studied the piano and became an accomplished pianist.
He did things like work in tobacco fields, studied medicine for awhile looking to be an LPN; was a cook, bartender, and restaurant manager. All along he continued to read and expand his knowledge.
He eventually ended up in Arizona. He worked for over 20 years for Woody's Enterprises where he was moved quickly from a store manager to a buyer and when he retired, he was their computer programmer and network specialist. He studied and practiced Buddhism, practiced his guitars, and stove to be a "Sharpshooter".

Andy has checked out; cancer closed the door. He was born in Columbus, Ohio, and attended Columbus Schools, after a brief time in Auburn, IN. Andy was an accomplished musician, and a consummate scholar. He studied Buddhism and became a Buddhist Priest - a decision which helped him find peace in his life.
Andy retired as the computer expert at Woody's Quick Stops Stores in AZ, CO, and UT. Any spent his later years in Prescott, AZ where he lived with his wife, successfully managed clinical depression, and became a recovering alcoholic - 9 years sober. He had some good AA friends, who helped him achieve this milestone.
Those who are left to cherish his memory are his loving, caring wife - Connie Keel; his mother- Linda Mercer; father - Robert Lowry; and many OH, AZ and online friends. We thank Prescott Oncology Center for extending his time with us, especially Dr. Espinoza and Dr. Doyle.
