Allan E. King passed away on June 27 after a long illness. He was 75 years old. He was born in Mansfield, Pennsylvania on November 21, 1938. Allan is survived by his wife Linda; daughter Tara Conroy of Spring Hill, Tennessee; stepson James Kinsella of Prescott, Arizona; and two granddaughters Samantha and Taylor. Allan was a graduate of C. W. Post College. He spent four years in the Air Force and trained as an Air Traffic Controller. Allan worked as a controller at New York Center, the busiest center in the country. He moved on to Traveler's Insurance Company and retired in 2006 after 33 years. Allan was an avid trap shooter, but was unable to participate in the sport in recent years. He also enjoyed travel and antique automobiles.
