Aliete Kawashima

Aliete Kawashima died on June 12, Aliete Kawashima died on June 12, 2008, at Yavapai Regional Medical Center. She was born February 7, 1941, in Brazil the daughter of Luis and Bela (Faermann) Brochmann. Aliete was 67 years old.   Aliete lived with her husband all over the world and spoke at least 7 languages fluently. She was active in the American Field Services wherever she lived. Aliete loved handy crafts, especially knitting and crocheting, which became works of art. She loved music and was a classical trained pianist. Aliete was very proud of her Jewish heritage.   Aliete is survived by her husband, Takeshi; son Kenny and his wife Indiam Kawashima of Prescott; daughter Karen Kawashima and her husband Jordi Kleiner; and granddaughter Bella, all of Chicago, Illinois.
