Alice Okoneski

Alice Okoneski, a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished member of her community, passed away on March 10, 2025, in Prescott, Arizona. Born on April 21, 1943, in Burlington, New Jersey, Alice led a life marked by compassion, dedication, and joy, touching the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A registered nurse by profession, Alice devoted herself wholeheartedly to those in need, embodying the spirit of care and kindness throughout her career. Her commitment to her patients was unwavering, and her nurturing nature extended far beyond her professional life. Alice was a proud and devoted member of St. Catherine Laboure Church, where her faith and involvement enriched not only her life but also the lives of those around her.

Alice's talents and interests were as vibrant as her personality. She found joy in art, often indulging her creative inclinations as a member of the High Desert Artists. Her love for nature flourished through gardening, and she cherished hiking, always exploring the beauty of the outdoors. Traveling with her beloved spouse, Jerry, brought her immense happiness, creating memories that will live on in the hearts of her family.

Alice was immensely proud of her wonderful family, which includes her eight children, two grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by 1 child.  They were the light of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them, creating a legacy of love, laughter, and support. Her gentle spirit and generous heart taught her family the importance of kindness, understanding, and the simple joys of life.

Alice Okoneski leaves behind a rich tapestry of memories, painted in love and light. Though she has departed from this world, her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched.
